Prior to assessment, the following information is required:
· Pre-assessment questionnaire completed by the learner or a parent/carer for under 16’s
· Teacher feedback questionnaire completed by the school or college for learners currently in education
· Sight test completed by an optician within 12 months prior to the assessment
· Up to date hearing test is recommended

Prior to assessment, the following information is required:
The assessments take approximately 3 hours to complete including rest breaks. Assessments may be completed over 2 sessions in some instances. This will be discussed during the initial consultation.
Assessments will examine:
- Reading
- Spelling
- Writing
- Memory
- Phonological awareness
- Processing speed
Post assessment
The assessment process
Post assessment
Following assessment, a report will be written outlining the learner’s strengths and difficulties. Where there is evidence to support a dyslexia diagnosis, this will be stated within the report. Recommendations will be provided for the individual, for school, college, university, or the workplace.
Where will the assessment take place?
The assessment will take place in Fiona’s Burbage residence. Assessments are also available at the client's home.
